Carol E. Kuzera, age 60, of Dayton, OH, passed away suddenly on Monday morning, December 26, 2011 at her residence. Born in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late John & Adeline (Dini) Kuzera. Carol was a 1969 graduate of Josephinum High School in Chicago; a graduate of Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, IL with a degree in Christian Education; and earned a secondary degree from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton. She formerly served as Director of Christian Education at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Miamisburg, OH and later at Fairmont Presbyterian Church in Kettering, OH. She then worked as a case worker and retired from the Montgomery County Department of Children Services.

Carol is survived by her partner of 19 years Karen J. Christian of Dayton; Karen's children Judy, Cheryl and Tom: Karen's 3 grandsons and 3 great grandsons: Carol's sisters Julie M. Kuzera of Chicago, IL and Mary Anne Kuzera of Brooklyn, NY: and her beloved cat Doris.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 2, 2012 at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Pastor Lowell T. Spencer presiding.
