Wilda J. Runyon, age 91, of Eaton, OH passed away Friday afternoon September 23, 2011. Born in Eaton, she was a daughter of the late Arbie & Marguerite (Fowble) Longman. For 20 years, she and husband William loved to winter in Davenport, FL. Wilda was a member of the Auxiliary of American Legion Post #215 of Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on September 11, 2009 by husband William L. Runyon, whom she married November 28, 1939: brothers and sister Richard, Jerry and Michael Longman, and Rosemary Ross.

Survived by sons Michael L. Runyon & wife Barbara of Dayton, OH; Patrick Runyon & wife Ann of Eaton; John M. Runyon of Eaton; and Thomas A. Runyon & wife Teri of Rock Hill, SC: 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Pastor Wayne Morrison will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Preble County Humane Society - 951 S. Barron Street - Eaton, OH 45320. Online condolences and guestbook at www.rlcfc.com.
